Unimicron responded to the “Green Award” sponsorship project initiated by UMC to jointly support meaningful environmental protection actions to implement corporate social responsibility practices. Through the interactive platform constructed by the "Green Award", scholars, experts, conservationists and enterprises can exchange and share resources and work together to maintain the ecology of Taiwan. The 4th Green Awards Ceremony was held at 2019 / 11 / 29 at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. In total, Taiwan Ocean Conservation and Fisheries Sustainability Foundation's " Bitou Cape Park Home for Clownfish program", Raptor Research Group of Taiwan's "Invisible Glass trap - the northern part of the investigation and killing wild birds window glass bird-friendly educational outreach program ", the Society of Wilderness " Original defenses of endangered plant species and educational outreach program at Shuanglianpi", the " For children, planted a field Coral Sea plan" of the Foundation Marine citizen Foundation and the Wetlands Taiwan " Firefly Habitat Creation and Education Promotion program for wetlands in Kaohsiung", a total of five projects were favored by the jury. The award-winning environmental protection charity group was awarded and the funds were donated to the above-mentioned public welfare groups to implement the award-winning plan. The Green Award Initiative UMC also gave a certificate of appreciation to the enterprise group that enthusiastically supported this event and sponsored it and was accepted by president of Unimicron Timothy Lan.
