Unimicron showed love to Guanyin Love Home and donated remanufactured furnitures and practiced circular economy.

In the global ESG trend, besides energy saving and carbon reduction and net zero carbon emission, the topic of circular economy is also one of the topics that global enterprises strive to practice green. In order to carry out the four main axes of Unimicron’s Public Welfare, “neighborhood care, vulnerable care, education and environmental protection”, a circular economy project has been developed for wooden pallet packaging materials since 2021 which is recycling and reproducing the wooden pallets from the packaging materials of the equipment in the factory, made them to the wooden furniture, and then setting the furniture in our factory or dormitory, at the same time achieving the multiple benefits of recycling economy, saving the cost of processing the wooden pallets and reducing the cost of purchasing dormitory furniture.

In 2022, Unimicron extended the benefits of the circular economy project, we recycled the wooden pallets and remanufactured as furnitures then sent the furniture to the needs of external public welfare organizations_ the Guanyin Love Home. We practiced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 17th “partnership” and promoted the concepts of circular economy, environmental sustainability and care for the disadvantaged. Unimicron donated a batch of specially-made furniture, including 12 wooden chairs, 13 bed partition cabinets, and 1 screen, to replace the old furniture in the Guanyin Love Home and replace it with high-quality and sturdy wooden furniture.

Unimicron will continue to focus on our four major public welfare axes, and link up the SDGs to promote more diversified public welfare activities to fulfill the responsibilities of social citizens.
